Kirk is the President and Owner of BDCL Architects and runs all of the day to day activities of the firm. For over 20 years, Kirk has been working on housing projects for residents including the past 14 years focused on affordable housing projects in 16 different states. During that time Kirk worked as a third-party consultant for the largest tax credit syndicator in Ohio serving as a construction inspector on LIHTC projects throughout the state. Kirk brings with this experience in affordable housing his expert knowledge in the topics of sustainability, accessibility and building codes. He utilizes these skills to manage the BDCL team while they bring projects to fruition.
Angela Radden

Angela has been with BDCL Architects since its inception and brings with her 12 years of experience in designing affordable housing developments. Over that span Angela also gained experience of many housing types as she performed capital needs assessments on acquisition / rehab projects. In addition to her affordable housing experience, Angela also utilizes her interior design skills to bring spaces to life that invigorate residents in their new homes. Angela is the lead for all BDCL projects in our primary market, the Midwest.
Alyssa Williams

Alyssa joined BDCL in July 2024, bringing 14 years of diverse experience in architecture and design. She has worked across a wide range of project types, including new, adaptive-reuse and Passive House projects, multi-family, senior and workforce housing, as well as commercial ventures. This extensive background enables Alyssa to draw on a variety of design principles, crafting functional and contextually relevant spaces. Over the past decade, Alyssa has specialized in affordable housing projects. Driven by a strong commitment to addressing the housing crisis, Alyssa is dedicated to designing spaces that enhance lives and foster community revitalization. Her approach emphasizes meaningful collaboration, strategic decision-making, and post-occupancy evaluations to ensure the delivery of impactful and transformative designs.
Hannah Bruns

Hannah joined BDCL in August of 2021 and has become quite the rockstar since joining our team. She began her career designing single family homes and takes that love of residential design into the success of her multifamily work with BDCL. Hannah is one of those rare people that is never afraid to take on new challenges and always seems to have a knack for turning her challenges into results. She has become the foundation for our work in the Southwest region and will undoubtedly change many resident lives through her excellent work!
Kimberly Martin
Project Manager
Kim first started with BDCL in November of 2023 and came to the team with a goal of using her vast past experiences in order to get back to her roots and passion of Project Management in Architecture. She uses her pro-level ability to communicate with people as her super power which leads to great things on every project. Kim has a true love for people and helping others which easily translates into designing high level resident spaces for our affordable housing projects. Kim’s leadership and mentorship abilities in the Architecture Industry make her a go-to person for knowledge on the team and all of her efforts result in her being an integral part of what makes BDCL amazing!
Taylor Bittner
Project Coordinator
Taylor joined the team in December of 2024 and immediately made an impact at BDCL. She brings with her over 6 years of experience in the commercial retail and restaurant design industry which gives Taylor a different perspective on how she brings affordable housing into reality. She has a knack for site and space planning which means that her projects help create spaces for residents that enhance their experience and quality of life. Taylor is an incredibly detail oriented dynamo and uses those skills combined with her infectious and commanding personality to drive projects to completion. She is a team player that focuses on results & finding creative ways to solutions, and does so while she contributes in whatever she can to help the team strive for greatness.
Anna Nartker
Project Coordinator
Anna is one of the newest BDCL team members, joining in November of 2024. She grew up in Dayton, OH and graduated in April of 2024 from the University of Cincinnati with her B.S. in Architecture. Through her internships she gained a wide variety of experience, and now she is eager to make a positive impact in communities with her work. Anna brings excitement for her career as well as a curiosity and eagerness to learn.
